Pair of Mojave Pottery Cradles by Elmer Gates, 1929-1990.
A male and female cradle doll of clay are each in a cradle board of traditional Mojave style.
The fired clay figures are 11" long, decorated with Padre beads and seed bead jewelry.
The cradles are of willow, with shredded bark, red fabric and yarn straps.
Each is in a metal stand. 10" tall clearance.
Like new condition.
