Vintage Persian Turquoise Silver Squash Blossom Necklace
Hand made sterling silver sheet and wire construction, high domed natural robin's egg blue turquoise.
In the 1960s we imported much good quality turquoise from the MIddle East, when we had free trade and peace.
Persian turquoise was set in all the Crowns of Europe, usually the pure blue, but westerners love the matrix!
Ten graduated pairs of stones and blossoms, 1 1/2" wide to 1 1/4".
The lovely naja is 2 1/2" by 2 3/4" with eight cabochons and fancy wire work.
