Maidu Indian Basketry Bowl
Deep age patina of the willow coiled over a 3 rod foundation, with dyed bracken fern design.
4 1/2" deep by 8 1/2" diameter, 6 coils and 14 wefts per inch.
Very nice food bowl shape, neat rim ticking, five design elements on the bottom.
Very good condition, minor stitch loss. Early 20th Century.
