Hopi Coil Basket Antelope Tray with Spirit Path

Sun bleached yucca is coiled over a grass bundle, with sunflower seed dyed for black and Mormon tea for red, and natural yucca (was green) now soft yellow.

Eight red and black antelope circle the sunflower center.

The unfinished end symboloizes the spirit path to keep the weavers way open.

8 1/2" diameter, flat.  Circa 1990s, fine original condition, slight age patina.

Wire hanger attached on the back.
