Mojave pottery Effigy jar by Elmer Gates, 1929-1990.
Hand built with native clay and slips, pit fired, blue and white seed bead jewelry.
The old style 4 spout jar stands 7 1/4" tall by 5" diameter.
Elmer Gates was known for making traditional Mojave pottery more modern.
