Gorgeous Zuni choker necklace inlaid with #8 turquoise in sterling silver, attributed to Frank Vacit.
The organic layout of the three pieces is flattering to the neckline.
Sterling silver sheet and channels are the setting for the well matched #8 sky blue turquoise.
Center section is 2 3/4" wide and tall, hinged to the two side pieces 1 1/2" tall by 1 1/4" wide.
Finished with tiny handmade silver beads of high quality, 7" long on each side.
Total drop length is 12".
Attributed to Frank Vacit, one very similar, by Deborah Slaney in "White Metal Blue Stone".
Vacit was a pioneer of channel inlay style, based on the turquoise we date this as mid-century.
