Traditional style Hopi Kachina, Mazhao by Larryn Masewytewa of Second Mesa.
Traditionally hand carved from dried cottonwood root, stands 11" tall plus 8" of the feathers.
Beautifully detailed with feathers and yarn, garters, medicine pouch and jewelry.
Finished with a coral bead necklace, holding a rattle and wand.
Note the rainbow visor which is woven.
Top sticks represent the fire they dance around.
