Lovely golden pottery jar by the original Frog Woman, Paqua Naha, 1890-1955, mother of Joy Navasie the second Frog Woman.
Traditionally hand built with native clay, stone burnished and decorated with plant and slip colors, pit fired.
The lovely olla shaped jar stands 8" tall and is 10 1/2" diameter, signed with her Frog drawing.
This was originally from the 1940s, a judge in Phoenix owned it, my collector has owned it for over 40 years.
Great original condition, no cracks or chips, minor wear from handling.
