Perfectly polished black pottery bowl by Blue Corn of San Ildefonso Pueblo from the 1960s.
Impressive size 12" diameter by 4" deep, polished inside and out!
Traditionally hand built with coils of native clay, stone burnished slip, then pit fired to black.
Once she sat down to polish the clay she didn't stop till it was complete!
Very good original condition, one minor scratch measures 2" long.
Purchased from us back in the 1990s, it still has our business card with it!
