Delicate pottery jar by Zuni Indian artist Jocelyn Quam Namingha.
Traditionally hand built with native Hopi clay, stone burnished, decorated with organic colors, pit fired.
This is a fine walled jar, 4 1/4" tall by 7" diameter.
Married to Hopi artist Les Namingha (Nampeyo Family), she uses Hopi clay but returns to Zuni to fire.
Originally she was a jeweler from the Quam family.
Circa 1990s perfect condition.
