Matriarch of the Butterfly Clan, known for her traditional Hopi pottery, she was awarded a Living Treasure Award in 1993.
Traditionally hand built with native clay, stone burnished and decorated with organic colors, pit fired.
A bowl of this shape would be used to serve mutton stew at Feast time.
