Golden pottery jar by Hopi artist Elva Nampeyo, 1926-1985, daughter of Fannie.
Hand built with native clay, stone burnished slip, organic paints, pit fired.
Lovely flat shoulder with elegant design, 3 3/4" tall by 6 1/2" diameter.
Purchased in 1972, fine original condition.
