Traditional Hopi feast bowl by Gloria Kahe, Dine married into Hopi.
Hand built with native clay, stone burnished inside and out, decorated with vegetal and mineral paints, pit fired.
This graceful bowl stands 5 1/4" tall and is 9 1/2" diameter.
Purchased from us years ago, it is featured in Stephen Ledoux's book "Beautiful Sites and Sensations- Small Collections of Native American and Other Arts".
