Fun colors in this Navajo Transitional weaving, circa 1900.
Hand spun native sheep wool is hand dyed with aniline and vegetal colors.
Eyedazzler design with a border suggests later date, rather than 1800s.
7'2" by 4'6", really good condition, no restoration, a couple of minor stains.
This is a really large Tranny, picture it as a bed or sofa cover.
