Interesting dust devil design is unusual in an Apache Indian basket.
This willow and devils claw coiled tray is 14 3/4" diameter, four rods and twelve stitches per inch.
Dating from the early 20th century, this tray is in fine original condition.
It does have a hole in the center where it was nailed to the wall, not unusual for baskets of that age.
The three rings surround the central motif and the cloud designs at the rim are all unusual.
Very nice looking antique Apache Indian basket for your collection.
