Two tone tall neck pottery jar by Maricopa Indian artist Vesta Bread, 1912-1976.
Traditionally hand built with native clay, stone burnished slips of buff and red, decorated with mesquite sap paint, pit fired.
The tall neck is the most difficult form to make as she has to draw up the clay.
Nicely painted with swirls on the shoulder and up the neck.
This vintage pottery vase stands 13 1/4" tall and 7 1/4" diameter.
Very good condition, no chips or cracks.
Buyer pays $35.00 for shipping and insurance.
