A contemporary pottery canteen is hand crafted by Hopi Indian artist Adelle Lalo Nampeyo. She learned her skills from her mother Elva and grandmother Fannie, and continues the family tradition!
Very nice quality workmanship, the painted figure appears to be a Kachina Maiden. Adelle created the angled base in clay so the canteen needs no support for display.
